My Favorite stroke

My Favorite stroke of all time is breast stroke. Even though it is not my best stroke I still love to swim breast stroke at any meet in any event. When I was thirteen years old (roughly three years ago) I broke the swim team record for the 13-14 100 breast stroke with a time of 1:25:06. Unfortunately though the next year my record was broken by a kid who could probably make it all the way to nationals.
Breast stroke and freestyle are not the only events I swim now though just two weeks ago I swam a 200 I.M. and broke my best time by 20 seconds with a time of 2:39:08!

I chose to write this blog because I am a swimmer and I have been swimming since I was ten. I am now fifteen and I would like to share my views with different people about swimming. I swim on two teams the West Suburban Blue Waves and my high school team the Dover Sherborn Raiders. Last year was my freshman year of high school. That year my coach made me swim a 500 freestyle probably one of the longest and hardest events for anybody to swim. When I first swam this event at my first meet I honestly thought I was going to puke in the pool because I was so nervous about swimming this event and it was the first time I had ever done a 500 in a swim meet. When I first started swimming I didn’t like it and I was swimming on and off seasons between basket ball and swimming. After a few years though the basket ball program I was in stopped and I committed most of my time to swimming which was when I decided that I might as well stick with the sport and now I love swimming. This blog however is not only going to be about just me it is also going to be about my swim teams, swimmers I swim with, and Olympic swimming. I made this blog to share my views and my love of swimming with anybody who wants to learn more about the sport.
